Is Visa debit card having the same function like Visa credit card?
I don’t want to apply a credit card because I don’t want to be charged RM50 ‘credit card tax’ by the govt.
I now have a Maybank ATM card that allows to do internet transaction. But I can’t buy a Dell laptop or book Tune Hotel room because they request me to pay using Visa credit card. Do they accept Visa debit card?
If your ATM card hs the VISA lego and you agree with the bank which issued the ATM card that it can function as a debit card, and it has been activated as such, then it can be used, provided the person manning the reception/payment counter is knowledgeable about these things to accept it….
