So i have been trying to find a credit card to apply to online. i do ower quite a few banks money and have not too great of credit. but i do have a job and got approved for an apartment so now i want to see if i can get a credit card. however all the sites online either look real fishy, need a deposit or something stupid. so does anyone know any credit card and website i can apply on that will accept my bad credit, wont make me pay anything upfront, and isnt a scam???? and dont say oooh you shouldnt get a credit card because blah blah blah. im 20 years old i know about these things. i do plan on paying on my credit card, i only want it to fall back on incase I am really fucked one day.

There is a card that I will NOT mention.
Their annual fee is about $90
They have a processing fee of $100 (not sure).
Application fee of $60 – and other fees
All the fees ad up to $239
Their credit limit is only $250
You do not want this kind of “bad credit” card.
Oh, and every 6 weeks they evaluate you for a limit increase.
They charge $25 each time.
This puts most people over the limit-
what a $39 over the limit fee.
Then, they raise the interest rates to the sky.

If you have bad credit the worst thing you can have is a credit card. Perhaps the reason you have bad credit is the manner in which you used a prior credit card. Go for a while without a card. Try managing your affairs with cash until you are more disciplined. Apparently you haven’t been. No body should shirk their fiscal responsibilities unless you prefer being known as a ” DEAD BEAT”

I have an emergency, and cannot think of any other solutions then to try to get a credit card for at least $2500. But I have bad credit and no checking account. I would rather pay off a credit card over time (and have the means to do so) then to not take care of my financial emergency as soon as possible.
