Cash Rebate Credit Cards – Benefits And Detailed Descriptions

The cash rebate credit cards are very helpful to the people who make big credit card purchases. The cash rebate rates vary from credit card to credit card. There will be normally 1% cash back on general purchases and 5% on specific purchases. The rebate rates are depending on the type of card the customer chose from. I’ll personally recommend to the people not chose this card, if they couldn’t pay off their credit card balances every month. It’s because, the APR rates are comparatively higher than other credit cards.

    Credit card balance transfer?
i am using two credit cards at the moment. one of the issuers suggest i take up a balance transfer plan with her company. my question is, if the balance transfer application is approved, will the amount be charged to my present card or will they create a new account altogether? if they create another account i see no point as i still have to deal with 2 outstanding balances.

If some one applies for credit card for balance transfer does it affect your credit score?
I am wondering if credit card application affect your credit score/credit report negatively?
does it lower the credit score every time some one applies for it?
how many times in a year is considered normal and not over application?

Credit Card Application Refused – Shall I apply for another?
    Hi,
I’ve been turned down for a 0% balance transfer card with Santander. Is it worth applying for another 0% card today or should I wait a while – will it make my credit score look bad if I apply for a different card again today? I really need to transfer my balances ASAP though! :( Please help!

  4. Jon K says:

Yes, every time someone pulls your report for lending purposes, it does put a mark on your report, and it is not a good mark. There is no over or under limit, but obviously, less looks better. The more points tells a creditor you have been applying at a lot of places, and maybe applying for more credit than you can handle.

Why would we be turned down for a credit card when we just passed a credit check for a mortgage refinance?
The same week my husband looked into a balance transfer credit card I started an application for a mortgage refinance to get rid of some credit card debt. My husband was turned down for the credit card now he is worried about the mortgage finance. We have had our mortgage with the same bank for 11 years. WIll there be a problem with the refinance? Like I said they alreaqdy saw our credit bureau reports and they were fine.

  6. Alex says:

They’ll probably tack it onto the existing account. Please make sure you understand the terms before agreeing to a balance transfer. They will charge a fee up-front for the transfer and probably offer a special interest rate for a few months. Once you know the terms, run the calculations to see if it will actually cost you less money than leaving it on two cards. I understand the desire to have only one debt account, but chances are the monthly payment will increase. How much are you willing to pay to avoid writing one check every month?

  7. Cash says:

you should not apply again, mostly it will be rejected again. Atleast wait for a few months. Also you should know how much is your credit score. To get 0% APR credit card your need to have excellent credit.

  8. Ted says:

The two things don’t have anything to do with each other.

You don’t say why you got turned down for the card. The card company was required to tell you why they turned you down.

The mortgage company is going to be mainly interested in how much equity you have in your house. Because you are pledging a house as collateral, and with a card, you are giving no collateral, the two lenders will tend to look at things differently.
